A short buying guide
Lead with the surname
Family wall art works hardest when the surname is the loudest element. Add an 'Established' year underneath, then a short list of first names. Restraint reads as confidence.
Go one size larger than you think
Above a sofa, sideboard or mantelpiece, Large (60 × 90 cm) almost always reads better than Medium. The negative space is part of the design.
Keep the name list edited
Three to eight names is the sweet spot. Longer lists are welcome — just step up a size so each name still reads from across the room.
